In 2022, Margaret was elected International Secretary-Treasurer in the first direct election of the UAW International Executive Board.
Financial Experience ➤
Before serving internationally, Margaret was elected Treasurer and Financial Secretary of her local union, giving her direct experience managing union finances and maintaining accountability to members.
Bargaining and Representation ➤
Margaret has served as a Bargaining Committee member, Committeeperson, and Shop Chair. She understands the responsibility of representing workers when contracts, working conditions, and livelihoods are on the line.
Health and Safety Advocacy ➤
Margaret has challenged unsafe workplace practices and taken action through OSHA when employers failed to protect workers.

1994
Hired in at the Chrysler Detroit Axle Plant and became a member of UAW Local 961.
Health & Safety
Fought unsafe conditions and filed OSHA charges that led to serious enforcement action.

2022
Elected UAW International Secretary Treasurer in the first direct election of the International Executive Board.
